The Society is considering a variety of ways to promote scholarship and communication about pragmatism, including websites and webforums, support for scholars’ travel, co-sponsorship of conferences, and awarding prizes. Besides hosting a website (forums.pragmatism.org) where members can post information about themselves and discuss their research and interests, the primary mode of communication is the journal Contemporary Pragmatism (published by Rodopi, see contemporary.pragmatism.org). Members of the International Pragmatism Society receive Contemporary Pragmatism as a part of their membership. Current subscribers who join the International Pragmatism Society will not receive an invoice from Rodopi and delivery will be uninterrupted. As the Society grows we hope to devote a section of each issue of Contemporary Pragmatism to notices of new scholarship, recent conferences, and other events of interest worldwide.
Membership
for 2006 is $60 per year. In the future, we hope to have funds to make reduced
